Scene III of our new comic

Sarah and I decided to go with using some gray tones to break up negative space and fill the drawings out. We're not using a standard gray tone on the print version of the book, we're going to go with a ben-day/zip-a-tone texture of gray on paper. For the purposes of the blog and the computer screen, these photoshopped tones serve their purpose.
